Ringo, otherwise known as Ch. Amchara Roc Ur World is a Mini Bull Terrier. He enjoys life to the fullest and we are along for the ride!
Ringo came to live with our family in December of 2007. After living with Great Danes for many years we decided we wanted a smaller dog. However we wanted a little dog with a big personality, the Mini Bull fit the bill.
Ringo is everything we wanted in a Mini Bull and more. He began his show career with a bang. He completed his AKC championship before he turned 8 months old. He did it in style in three show weekends, picking up back to back five point majors and a four point major along the way.
His biggest accomplishments were yet to come!
His first time out as a special he was awarded a Terrier Group 1 by Judge Marcia Feld. The next weekend he went to the Kentuckiana Cluster. He was awarded BOB, under Bob Shreve and recieved an AOM from Rosiland Clamper.
Over Memorial Day Weekend at the Cornbelt Cluster, Ringo was awarded BOB from Frank Sabella and Desmond Murphy. He also recieved BOS from Dr. Carl Pew and Jan Dykema.
We are proud to say that Ringo is out competing with the " best of the best " . He has earned many Best of Breed awards with very stiff competition at large entry shows. He has been awarded multiple MBTCA supported show Best of Breed awards and multiple MBTCA supported shows Best of Opposite awards.
February 16, 2010 was the most unforgetable day of our dog show lives. It was the day Ringo won Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show under Judge Karen C. Wilson. We were honored and humbled to win. It was the largest entry of Mini Bulls ever at Westminster and the ring was oozing with stunning, high quality Mini Bulls! It is a day we will never forget!
Ringo has decided to take some time off from the ring. After a whirlwind of a year, he needs to take some time to recooperate. However he does love to show, so you never know where he might show up! He will be out in very limited showing.
We hope to be back in the ring in late 2010 or early 2011. Until then~best of luck to all of our Mini Bull Friends! We are cheering you on!
